Goose yourself fitter in October!

Saturday, October 1st
The Silent Game and Alex Walker
Local post-alternative rock band The Silent Game will be playing their Radiohead, Deftones, and Depeche Mode influenced music. Alex is from Portland and his songs are reminiscent of a certain Pacific North Westerner with melancholy melodies and heartfelt lyrics. I'm not gonna say who it is, so you have to figure it out. He'll be accompanied by a really fun and sensual upright bass player that plays here a lot.

An Intimate Evening with Kevin & Allyson Seconds and Jonah Matranga with special guest Natalie Cortez
Kevin's back for his regular Goose-session. Kevin Seconds has been the lead singer and principal songwriter of seminal American hardcore punk band 7Seconds for over 3 decades now. He's been called a pop troubadour with a protest singer's heart and his new songs are startlingly catchy and impeccably well-crafted. Allyson's second solo album Little World will be available on Friday, October 21st, 2016 maybe she'll play something from that. Jonah Matranga is another wonderful Sacramento musical guy who writes interesting songs and is the frontman for seminal indie rock band, FAR. Natalie Cortez is back playing her Americana and indie pop.

The Uncovered and Que Bossa
The Uncovered are a very groovy band that reinvents songs you may know or have forgotten about. Que Bossa is like a lovely walk through a meadow in the spring. Bossanova is a genre of Brazilian music made popular in the 50's and 60's. Astrud Gilberto is the queen of bossa music and Que Bossa brings this sweet and romantic sound to life.

Fem Dom Con

This will be spectacular. Jaime Fernandez has put together this cool night of female comedians for you at the pub. Don't worry, they won't kill you. They are dominating this show, but I don't think they want to harm us.

Colleen Heauser Band and Blue Moon Boys
Colleen finds many artist inspirational because they are allowing us to see them in a vulnerable yet powerful state, where we connect together through the power of music. She plays country-pop with feeling. Blue Moon Boys are retro-billy. Meowzers.
