Hi,
Here's December at your favorite pub!

Every Wednesday is Northern Soul and Cornhole, our weekly night of classic rare soul, rocksteady, and northern soul. Come throw some corn sacks and dare to move your hips to the sweet sounds of soulful music! 8 'til late/sacks @ 10pm.

Thursday the 5th is Jay Shaner playing his sweet Americana with singer-songwriter, Jackson Griffith. Jay's music is perfect for the fall in Sacramento and Jackson is a visionary, a wordsmith, and an all around good fella. Come warm yourself up with a hot spiced cider with some Jameson.

Friday the 6th it’s a night of country, pop, and great songwriting with Lucky Laskowski & The Liars Choir, Mike Miller & The High Life Band, and The Million Dollar Giveaway.
Saturday, December 7th is the return of Oakland's brilliant a capella hip-hop/soul group, Antique Naked Soul, celebrating their album release, followed by the super high energy New Orleans style brass funk outfit, The City of Trees Brass Band, 9pm/$5.

Thursday it’s Steve McLane and Laurali’s Christmas Party. Come hear some classic holiday folk songs at Steve's annual Xmas soiree. 8pm/free

Kittenhead (female fronted Hollywood pop punk), Sly Park (bluesy soul), and The Bathtub Gins (country-tonk) on Friday the 13th, 9pm/$5.

The 14th is raw guitar rock from 50-Watt Heavy, a solo acoustic set from Two Cow Garage's Micah Schnabel, and Americana from Richfield, 9pm/$5

The Mike Justis Band plays acoustic folk on Thursday the 19th. Mike has played at the Goose for many many years, and his brand of classic acoustic music is always refreshing. Featuring Kathy Barwick, Mike Justis, Steve O'Neil, Jeff Sears, and Steve McLane, you're always in for some great Americana, Blues, and Classic folk music.

Friday the 20th it’s The West Nile Ramblers playing high energy bluegrass, Kally O’Mally playing sweet pop, and Mike Blanchard & The Californios doing good ol' boy country. Live music is alive and well in Sacramento at the Foxy Goose!

The 21st is grunge rock from The Secret Lives of Squirrels, all-girl pop punk from Dead Horses, and smoky outlaw country from Wolf Hamlin and the Front Porch Drifters (American Idol Contestant), 9pm/$5. Get goosed with these fine local musicians!

Thursday, it’s an open jam with Chimi Changa… bring your axe. He's gonna bring everything else, who knows what could happen.

On the 27th it’s blues-grass from Wes Fox & The Loons, funky folk from Spark Three featuring Mango Jennings with The Afterlife swing duo opening the night.

Saturday the 28th is the brilliant Johnny Cash tribute band: The Cash Prophets featuring Bobby Cash and his sons, with pop rock cover band The Uncovered, 9pm/$5

Spend your New Year’s Eve with us, and shake your tambourine to the solid funk and soul sounds of Larry Rodriguez. This is by far the best year-end dance party in town, so get the crew together, and let’s ring in the New Year at your favorite pub!
