Live Music at Fox & Goose in April

Spring is here so let's party at the Goose!

Every Wednesday is Northern Soul with Austin Robins playing rare soul, Avi with the dubby platters, and Andy Garcia with everything in between. Come out and play some darts, have a pint, and shake your hips to sweet soul music.

On Thursday the 4th we welcome back Jay Shaner with Kevin Seconds doing an opening acoustic set. Jay's band is amazing, with Steve Randall and Jay's guitar interplay and the ultra solid rhythm section of Erik Warren and Anthony Ordonez. Kevin is a super prolific songwriter that tours the world and is a genuinely kind fella.

Friday, April 5th is the Pushtonawanda CD release party with Chick P's and Marty O'Reilly. Pushton is led by the enigmatic Ian McGlone and plays Americana and rock & roll. Chick P's are a high energy blues rock band with heart-breaking harmonies. Marty O'Reilly is also Americana influenced by the delta greats.

Saturday night is Mango Jennings & Foat playing electro folk with Kim Bock and Bethany Cowan. Mango does great original acoustic music with awesome lyrics and sweet melodies, then he adds electronic beats to them. We're gonna have to bring out the subwoofer for this one! Don’t forget to drink London Pride with your Banger on a Bun.

On Thursday the 11th, check out Bob Waller playing Americana originals that are perfect for this old brick and wood pub. Bob was the leader of Stout Rebellion and now leads the Midway Marvels. His singing and swashbucklingly positive attitude is best served with a whiskey. Bring the family!

The 12th of April is a perfect spring show with The Island of Black & White and Trainwreck Revival. Island is super talented soul/blues/reggae. Trainwreck is CCRish Americana and rock & roll. Twisted Thistle IPA is yummers.

Saturday night is rockers, Wolfgang Vega, indie pop by Spangler, country folk rock from Twilight Straggler, and acoustic indie folk from Stevie Nader. There’s great live music at the Goose and you should come out to see it!

Steve McLane plays classic acoustic folk music and has been playing at the Goose since the early days. Come check out his sweet sounds on Thursday, April 18th.

Friday we have indie rockers Der Spazm, The Kelps, and Argentinian singer Milhouse Palacios rocking your face off with accuracy. Spazm is artsy indie rock. The Kelps are energetic alt rock with an attitude. Milhouse is from Buenos Aires and plays fun folky indie pop. Creamy basil goes with everything!

They’re back… Saturday night it’s rock & roll from Zachary James and The All Seeing Eyes in a Spinal Tap meets T-Rex kind of way, super soul goddess Alexandra and the Starlight Band, and Todd Morgan’s pop rock. Bring a friend and enjoy quality music and a great selection of imported beer! If you’re not completely satisfied, then you’re not at this show.

The Mike Justis Band plays acoustic folk on Thursday the 25th. Mike has played at the Goose for many many years, and his brand of classic acoustic music is always refreshing. Featuring Kathy Barwick, Mike Justis, and Steve McLane, you're always in for some great Americana, Blues, and Classic folk music.

Friday it's great bluegrassyness from The Delta City Ramblers, indie rock from Little War Twins(Boston), Wooden Revolt, and J Kräge. Kräge is a rocker, and brings nice melody. Wooden Revolt is good old boy country pop. The Twins from Boston are going to blow your mind! The Ramblers fit perfect in these brick walls. Drink responsibly... come to the Goose and enjoy really good beer.

Oh man, it's The Neighbors and Jay Shaner! Get your swimmin' trunks on! Great Americana from our favorite songwriter Jay and quizzical honor rock with a violin from The Neighbors. Don't think for a second that you're not invited to this public house for beer and cheese!
