July Guys Goose Again

Friday, July 6th
Adam Varona, Ian McGlone, and Noah Nelson
Dr. Adam Varona is an amazing wooey from The Inversions and Sea Legs. His music is heart-felt and melodically wonderful. Noah is a romantic man who writes poetic and exciting music. He plays in Radio Orangevale, Las Pesadillas, and Loose Engines. Ian McGlone is a practical dreamer, a gainfully employed mystic, and a chronic songwriter. When the spirit moves him—often after meeting a new woman—he is compelled to transmute his feelings into song. Come feel a little. Ian’s stage presence is worth the cost of admission. Think folk rock with soul, a dash of humor, and a sprinkling of unrequited love. Don't miss this intimate musical cuddle sesh with some of Sacramento's most lovable songwriters. Meow-burgers.

Alyssa Mattson and Steven Denmark
Alyssa Mattson is a Sammie award winning singer-songwriter from Sacramento California. Best known for her musical stylings with folk band, Awkward Lemon, Alyssa is more recently exploring the stage as a solo artist, and brings a classic and intimate vibe with her original music. Alyssa is releasing her first full length album as a solo artist this Spring 2018 titled “Morph”, which puts an ambient modern spin on folk music.
Steven grew up in the foothills of rural Northern California. For as long as he can remember, music was in the forefront of Steven's life. Since he was 13 years old, Steven has been playing in bands, helping other artist create their music and touring the US and Australia. Six years ago, Steven made the decision to focus on writing the songs he's always wanted to. After many failed recording attempts, multiple songs thrown out or reworked, he finally had the songs he felt represented him as an artist. In march of 2017, Steven ventured out to Nashville TN to record his first full length record which was released on November 24th 2017.

Friday, July 20th
The Joe Kaplow, Blue Oaks, and Eugene Ugly
Influenced by traditional American music and folk revival songwriters like Bob Dylan and Neil Young, music is Joe Kaplow’s way of taking stock of the journeys he’s been on and reminding himself to keep pursuing a sense of home.
"Blue Oaks’ music is a loose amalgam of blues, country, folk, rock ’n’ roll, and soul. The songs are gritty, mysterious and sometimes wander into the familiar sounds of past generations, all while taking unpredictable detours." - Aaron Carnes
Eugene Ugly is worried rock band. George is married, Victor fears nothing, and Cameron has a one-eyed dog.

The Triple 7's and Occupy The Trees
Garage/Indie rock with an alternative spin. The Triple 7's are influenced by early Pixies but they don't have a bass player....cause they don't need one! Occupy the Trees was founded in August 2013 by members Charlie Sand, Parker Barnes and Christopher London. After looking for a drummer for some time Nathaniel Wilson joined OTT and thus formed Occupy The Trees as we know it today.
