KTF is a 5 piece Americana/eclectic band from Sacramento, made up of current and former members of the New Past, Delta City Ramblers, and Mezcal Aces. Band of Coyotes are vagabond songwriters who drifted around collaborating acoustically with a unique mix of rock, folk, and blues.

Grub-dog Mitchell is the fearless leader of Loose Engines and Grub-dog & the Amazing Sweethearts and his songs are heartfelt stories in an indie country/Americana style. His voice is like if the devil and an angel made sweet sweet love and had a very special heathen-cherub that can make you weep with it's delicate siren voice of love and beauty, whilst simultaneously doing all of it's homework and chores constantly.  Tonight at Fox & Goose - Gavin, Ollie, & Mary and Chris Twomey, 9pm/$5. Gavin, Ollie, & Mary sounds like it could be the title for a quirky UK comedy but is actually Gavin Canaan, singer/guitarist from Pomegranate, teaming up with Ollie Morrish on piano/keyboards and Mary Pakenham-Walsh on vocals and guitar, performing as a duo playing a selection of originals and eclectic covers, and still likely to be a bit quirky and very much at home in an English pub. Chris Twomey's heartfelt songs weave stories and melodies together with a sweetness and passion like no other.

Mathew James is a Los Angeles based singer/songwriter whose unique style stems from a lifetime of musical influences. He's been compared to David Bowie, Jim Croce, and Bono. Mathew weaves together an eclectic mix of indie, 80's pop sensibilities with hints of folk/Americana. With his new release out, A Matter Of Time, his emotionally charged lyrics and memorable melodies are sure to reel you in. Alyssa Mattson is a Sammie award winning singer-songwriter from Sacramento California. Best known for her musical stylings with folk band, Awkward Lemon, Alyssa is more recently exploring the stage as a solo artist, and brings a classic and intimate vibe with her original music. Alyssa released her first full length album as a solo artist this Spring 2018 titled “Morph”, which puts an ambient modern spin on folk music.

They feature male/ female vocal harmonies, instrumental solos, keyboards, and edgy lyrics. In Retrograde is a new Sacramento band with deep sounding lyrics, a driving rhythm section, and astral sounding synths. Their inspiration stems from modern darker sounding music.

Skyler’s Pool is an indie-rock band out of Sacramento that plays original music and features husband and wife duo Kitty O’Neal and Kurt Spataro. Playing music in different bands together since the 80’s, Kitty is also the Afternoon News Anchor on KFBK AM/FM and Kurt is the Executive Chef/Co-Owner in the Paragary Restaurant Group. Drummer Fred Nelson, Jr. (Oleander) and versatile Lori Sacco-Nelson (Funk Shui) are joined in Skyler’s Pool by bassist Bob Lo Russo. Jenn Rogar is a local singer-songwriter of Contemporary Folk music with a country, jazz, pop, rock, blues and socially conscious twist accompanying herself on acoustic guitar and backed up by the awesome drum sounds of Fred Nelson Jr. Gillian plays dark and intelligent alt-country love songs with two sultry female voices. Sam Eliot/Duke Chevalier is a musical project from California that drapes idiosyncratic songwriting with a cosmopolitan musical aesthetic. Drawing on diverse influences as Afro-Caribbean and West African folk music, spaghetti western scores, contemporary hip-hop, chartreuse music, American folk songs, and garage rock, Duke Chevalier paints a landscape where both ancient spiritual and futurist post-everything worldviews dance together in an anxious harmony. Sean Fleming's latest release, Glow Worms has drawn comparisons to acts such as Fleet Foxes, The War On Drugs & Lord Huron. Fleming is known for his sweet falsetto, sometimes raspy tenor vocals and the raw sincere energy he delivers on stage. Fleming captures a new Californian take on Cosmic American Folk Music. Will Comstock is an indie/Americana songwriter.

The Pressure Lounge is a modular Sacramento collective blending elements of funk, pop, hip-hop, rock chops, lollipops and metalshop into a dance-motivated groove machine. Adrian Bourgeois is an award winning, critically acclaimed songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist and producer influenced by the classic pop sensibilities of the Beatles, Brian Wilson, and Neil Young. A Sacramento native now living in Los Angeles, Adrian has toured the country opening for artists such as John Mayer, Todd Rundgren, Richie Furay, Guster, and the Zac Brown Band, and his two albums topped several year end best of lists. Adrian is also a member of the singer/songwriter duo See How They Run who released “The Strength of Strings” last year.

Ctrl-Z combines nasty bass grooves, banging drum rhythms, ripping guitar parts, stunning melodies and moving improvisation into an unforgettable live performance. SpaceWalker is a warrior priestess. Her super powers include (but are not limited to) being a multi-instrumentalist & one-woman-band, freestyle rapping, bringing the funk & fashion, and making the perfect omelette.

You may know Matt Woodcheke from the early 2000's twang-pop outfit Radio Cure, the early 2010's fuzz-rock band The Banner Days, or as the award-winning open mic host and legendary Sacramento famous person, Matt The Bastard.
