We're staying positive and present in the 2016 at Fox & Goose! It's really such an amazing place to be. Fox & Goose would like to say a huge thank you to the Sacramento music community for continuing to play, going to gigs, and for supporting us as a place that we can all enjoy for intimate live local music.

Kevin Seconds set the tone when he started his band 7 Seconds 37 years ago. Now he is one of the most prolific songwriters in the style of acoustic indie pop with country/Americana undertones. He still tours and records with his original punk band, and we are so proud to have his monthly first Fridays residency at Fox & Goose! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, Anton Barbeau and Will Comstock are playing too. Anton is a dude who lives in Berlin and has made over 20 albums"Like a centipede in a candy jar..." and Will is the frontman, amaze-nards songwriter for The Inversions and The Stummies! Don't miss this night of guitary songy guys!

Wrapping up their Caravan To Mardi Gras Tour 2016 at Fox & Goose, Yogoman is back with his latest installment of huge soul meets New Orleans Brass with Jamaican riddims kind of music. Basically imagine Sam Cook backed up by The Maytals and The Rebirth Brass Band. It's a super positive dance party to original songs that sound so familiar and good you will loose it. Jordan Rain/Yogoman is the singer, drummer, leader and songwriter that carries on with his 10+ year run as one of America's best hidden musical treasures. Don't miss this great show with local support from Hans & The Hot Mess (funky soul with the Joy & Madness horns) and Sacto Soul Rebels (ska/reggae).
Friday, March 11th
Banjo Bones is a whiskey infused philosopher, frustrated poet and wannabe cowboy and sings about the present in a voice of the past. The Pine Streets say this, "Good time acoustic roots & grass from the Sierra Foothills with an edge...shades of Townes van Zandt & Gram Parsons." I like all that and you should also. Lots of bricks too!
Saturday, March 12th
Hey, it's time for another Met Music Dept. Benefit. This local Americana rock band Spangler will bring the Tom Petty/Eagles influenced folky rock harmonies to your ear orifices. Opening the evening a bit earlier at 8:30pm Is Pat Reilly featuring one of The Met's music students on guitars and vocals too. Give a little back to the kids so we can keep this music dream alive.

You know how this works, right. May you have a song in your heart, a smile on your lips, and nothing but joy at your fingertips! The Pikeys are like Tom Waits in the Pogues with The Dropkick Murphys' rhythm section and they start at 8:30. Bobby does rocked up Irish drinking songs that will get you jigging at 5:30. We also have our singalong around 6 or so, all the corned beef and cabbage you can use to help support your Guinness and Jamesons. Drink Responsibly and get a ride.
