Every Wednesday is Northern Soul! & Cornhole!, our weekly night of classic rare soul music, rocksteady reggae, northern soul, & corn-sack toss.

Thursday Jay Shaner returns with his full band playing his beautiful heartfelt songs with Makenzie Mizzel from Eugene. Jay is a motha trucka song writer and Makenzie is a wild and crazy gal! Be a doll and enjoy great music and beer at Foxy Goose!

Friday it’s psychedelic rock from Taylor Clark’s Infinite Vastness, folk pop like Kings of Convenience by Güero, and indie folk from SF’s Hart Bothwell. Taylor is our sound guy and makes Pink Floydian rock songs that will make you bob and weave. Güero plays sweet songs that make you want to swim in the American river.
Saturday night we go from acidy jazz/funk with Crossing The River, all the way to desert rock from Desert Rat of Utah, and then full throttle into honky-tonk country with Big Iron. You should probably have an Oban. I love scotch. Scotchy, scotch, scotch. Here it goes down, down into my belly.

Thursday the 10th it’s Steve McLane’s timeless acoustic tunes. Steve has been playing at Fox & Goose since the early days. He plays classics from Neil Young to the Beatles to Bob Dylan. It's a nice mellow way to spend a Thursday evening with a pint and a pasty. 8pm, free.

Friday it’s female fronted girl pop with Nacho Business and Stockton’s Monster Treasure. Nacho has cute and cheesey pop chicks, Heather Crocker and Candice Adams. Monster has big Nirvana Bleach drums and guitars with sweet melodic vocals. Hold on to your hats, this one's gonna be a doozy.

Hey! On Saturday, October 12th it’s a night of ska and rocksteady reggae with Sacto Soul Rebels, Keyser Soze from Reno, and The Storytellers. Nina will be on the tables, so get up on your feet! Let's do the Ska and turn this Pub into a dancehall! No shoes, no shirt, no service.

The Mike Justis Band plays acoustic folk on Thursday the 17th. Mike has played at the Goose for many many years, and his brand of classic acoustic music is always refreshing. Featuring Kathy Barwick, Mike Justis, Steve O'Neil, Jeff Sears, and Steve McLane, you're always in for some great Americana, Blues, and Classic folk music.

On Friday we have Celtic/indie Americana from One-Eyed Reilly, the Led Zepplin-esque indie rock of Erik Spencer, and dark swinging blues from The Rebobs. Do you like large buildings made of bricks, a large assortment of beer and other spirits, and/or really good music in an intimate setting? Will you be my friend?

The 19th is neo-soul from Hans & The Hot Mess, jazzed up r&b from the beautiful Emily Kollars and whimsical indie folk from The Lady Crooners fronted by the marvelous Nadia, Joseph, and Megan Krilanovich. Have you tried our Banger on a Bun? Put some Stilton on it and wash it down with a Guinness draught… good night.

Yogoman Burning Band and The Sacto Soul Rebels will be playing at our weekly Northern Soul & Cornhole night and it's Austin's birthday. He's a real pooper. Yogoman is led by drummer/vocalist Jordan Rain with his angelic voice and true blue groove beats. You will absolutely loose your goose! I challenge anyone to stand still and frown while watching these soultastic lover boobs!

Thursday the 24th is a singer-songwriter showcase with solo acoustic songs by Jesse Burns, Lucky Laskowski, Jacob Waters, and Kyle Tuttle.

Friday, Blue Oak brings the blues rock, The Stu Tails bring reggae/rock from Boston via SF, and Punch-Out! does indie pop. Blue Oak says they're influenced by nature and soul. Stu is upbeat party music with a little reggae sprinkled on a rock. Punch-Out! is a rock band with nice hair and they like video games.

The 26th is prog rock from Narwhal, Neil Youngy sweetness from Akron Engine, and old timey swing jazz from Zack Sapunor’s Afterlife. All over the map with this one, but all of it's great music! Zach Sapunor's stand-up bass playing in the Afterlife is absolutely mesmerizing, Akron's songs are genuine masterpieces, and Narwhal is a jammy odyssey of sonic alchemy. If that makes any sense...

Wednesday the 30th is a special Halloweeny pumpkin competition from 6 to 9pm. Bring your carved creation and win a prize, then hang out for Northern Soul & Cornhole and make it a spooky hump day.

Halloween night, Thursday the 31st, we have a Costume party with Whoville (Who tribute), indie popsters Soft Science, and Seattle indie lady Julia Massey.

We hope everyone is enjoying the music in the front room. Now we’ve got some new fancy speakers to make it sound even better! Friday the 1st it’s The Spirit of St. Louis and Manzanita Falls (SF) playing indie rock.

Saturday we have a Day of the Dead party with Children of the Grave (the world’s only Zombie tribute to Black Sabbath) and real rock & roll from The Peace Killers. Stilton and Branston Pickle will make you wiggle!
